The Body Tailor is a personal fitness center composed of
educators, trainers and therapists collectively practicing as
C.H.E.K practitioners.
We are sought out for our holistic approach, and acute attention
to detail with regard to movement technique, physical evaluation
and exercise prescription.
Practitioners here have worked with a full spectrum of clients
from most sports, professions, age groups, and lifestyles. We
have helped people achieve goals ranging from simple weight
control, to Olympic success.
Our experience includes clients with all manner of challenges:
stroke victims, knee and hip replacements, rotator cuff tears and
strains, all forms of spinal pathologies and dysfunctions (such as
disc bulges, ruptures and replacements, spondylolithesis,
spondylolisis, sinal stenosis, sacroiliac joint instability, and
scoliosis), carpal tunnel, nerve tension, high blood pressure,
irritable bowl syndrome, diabetes, high/low cholesterol,
depression, arthritis, asthma, chronic fatigue and more.
Each one of us reflects the results of our program, and as
practitioners we practice what we teach every day.

|
(C.H.E.K. Level 2 and HLC Level 2)
Kerry Olson's success as a C.H.E.K practitioner (Corrective and
Holistic Exercise Kinesiologist), and Nutrition and Lifestyle Coach
comes from over a decade of experience in healthcare. After
receiving undergraduate degrees in English and Social Thought and
Political Economy from the University of Massachusetts, Kerry trained
for three years with The New England Institute for Integrative
Acupressure. There she learned the philosophy of Traditional Chinese
Medicine combined with massage techniques, and orthopedic
manipulations for addressing illness and biomechanical injury. Kerry
has maintained a private practice in Acupressure for the past decade.
She worked for three years as a hands-on therapist with
Chiropractor, Dr. Bruce Coulombe. Kerry's success led to the cofounding
of The Body Tailor where she has developed an effective
practice as a personal fitness trainer, body-worker, and health coach.
Her work with The Body Tailor combines her passion for social justice
and the creation of a healthier world with her knowledge of energy
work, body tissue manipulation, holistic personal training, and
nutrition and lifestyle coaching. Kerry's experience, patience, and
approach enable her to spot obstacles, and achieve lasting results.
